Nature - city

When the day draws to a close
And the birds hide their plumage
The roses and tulips bow their heads
Before the shining moon and the nocturnal hustle and bustle
Then the rats and mice come out
And the owl listens with strained ears;
Hear the rustling of leaves here and there
And nothing seems to disturb this calm.
But suddenly you hear a car rumbling
And you can smell a roast stewing.
A few steps away from the beautiful nature
There is no longer a trace of this:
Everywhere only metal and stones
Thousands of people, big and small.
Few things tower above the city
Everything looks sobering, bleak and dull.
The rumble of the cars in traffic
The boarding of motorcycles over the tar
Screaming people everywhere -
The background noise was a torture.
But at some point the night is over
The owl disappears with a cry
The roses and tulips stand up
The birds fly up to the sky.But the city has only gotten louder
And nature has long since died for them.
But nature fights and will finally win -
Progress will be subject to it ...
