Sasuke Uchiha, Isame Uchiha, and Itachi Uchiha are the only ones left in the great Uchiha clan. The death of the rest of the clan was quite tragic. Itachi, the eldest, betrayed the rest of the huge Uchiha clan by killing them all to test his power. Every night after that Sasuke and Isame were doomed to dream through that very moment when they looked through the corpses. Isame missed Itachi, as Sasuke hated him deeply. Itachi betrayed him and Isame for no reason ... just to test his strength. "This stupid world," Sasuke would always say, "never had anything in store for me." Isame was just five years older than him and had to comfort him all the time because he was so little. It was hard for them, knowing they would never have anyone there. There were only two like them. Two boys. Isame was Chu-nin when Sasuke was in the Academy, so she would stay up late in the night to watch over the huge village of a mansion that the Uchiha's used to live in. They didn't know why Itachi left them, certainly they would have accepted the apology had he even tried to apologize.Isame wanted to make Sasuke feel better but she never had a chance to try. One night while Isame was patrolling the outside gates guarding the mansion, Sasuke woke up. He had just turned 8 two days before. He had had a really horrible nightmare. He tried to get her attention without scaring her. But it didn't really succeed as much as he wanted it to.
"Nii-chan? Can I sit with you?"
"What's wrong, little brother?" Isame walked over to him and sat on a bench letting him sit next to me.
"I had another nightmare. A really bad one." He felt a little shy telling her this because he thought he wanted to act like an adult.
"Really? Come here." He sat on her lap and soon fell asleep leaning on Isame's shoulder. The next morning he found himself in his bed and Isame was probably making breakfast for him before she went out. She knew Sasuke could take care of himself for an hour or two.
"Big sister? Are you awake?"
"Of course. I'm always awake for you." She smiled and took him into the kitchen and sat him down.“Why are you trembling?” She hugged him. She knew Sasuke was worried, but she didn't know about what. She smiled and gave him some breakfast, knowing it would cheer him up. Then Sasuke hugged her.
"Thank you Nii-chan. You're the best." He sat down and started eating. Then isame left. Sasuke just kept eating. When he was finished he got his bag ready and went to the academy, knowing Isame would not be back 'till later. He sighed deeply. "I hope she's back when i get home. I feel safe when I'm around her ..." As he was finishing up training three hours later he got home. He had a bigger bag then this morning because of all his new weapons. He hoped his sister could help him with his training today. Usually she wasn't home at this hour but he saw her shoes outside. "She's home!" He ran inside to see her at the table with a few sheets. "Nii-chan!" He ran to her ang hugged her. She hugged him back. "Why are you home? You're usually not home now." She smiled.
"I have a bit of work so my sensei let me go home early."He sat down next to her and took out his sheet work." You need me to help you? "
"No, I think I'll do fine."
"Alright." She went back to her work. There were tons of questions made solely for Chu-nins and Sasuke had no idea wht the questions were. They were written in some kind of code that he couldn't understand. Probably for receiving messages from other villages and being able to decode them.
