Even as a small child he always wanted to disappear from this rat's nest, which was called an island, and even as a small child he was rebellious and perfectly made for the pirate life that is now waiting for him. He had also always observed the pirates who had attacked the village and even admired them, this was the only way he knew pirate life and nothing else, his life as a pirate will probably not be any different.
For a while he had been sailing aimlessly through the endless sea and his supplies were running out. It was a miracle that Kid had got food and a boat, but he didn't have a log port or even a map, he had little idea about piracy at all, his knowledge was only built on what he had personally experienced and that wasn't very much. Even if he were to starve to death on the vast ocean, no one would miss him, on the contrary, the people who knew and know him would be happy to get rid of this nuisance. In a nutshell, Kid had a terrible childhood and everyone despised and loathed him, but that had never bothered him, the main thing was that he would survive, that was his only thought.

Time felt like an eternity for Kid, but at last he saw the beach of the beautiful island, when he ran aground, Kid pulled his boat further out of the water to prevent it drifting away, shouldered his bag and started looking for one City or at least a human soul. Which he found after a few minutes, he immediately ran into the city center and looked for a bar, finally he could get really crowded again and take care of his problems tomorrow, he had Berry, but he feared that he wouldn't would be enough, which is why he first went to the market with a sigh and looked for food.Kid is not the typical gourmet type, on the contrary, as long as you can eat it and it doesn't kill you, everything is fine with him, shopping was also one of his hateful occupations, which was not surprising to the residents, he looked brutal and cold-blooded and most thought he was going to rob them, but Kid just didn't want to. He only bought the bare essentials, which would only be enough for a week, at least if he used them sparingly, but he ran out of money and had to be satisfied with it. Sighing again in annoyance, he also realized that he couldn't drink anymore, but that didn't stop him from going to a bar, at least there he felt comfortable and in the right place. This part was also related to his past, because since he had always admired the pirates, he followed them and what is the most typical place of every pirate? Exactly, a bar, which meant that Kid spent most of the day in the bar.
Kid was really annoyed to see that everyone really had a mug of sake or beer in their hands and he didn't, with the typical cold look and sadistic smile he looked around the bar and tried to find some drunk guys somewhere who had at least a few berries with them so that he could plunder them undetected.
He already saw someone who might be his next victim, he wasn't drunk, but sat at the bar and looked with his back to him, he had long blond hair and his clothes were blue and white, kid realized the guy might be his age, although that was hard to guess since he had only seen him from behind. But that didn't deter Kid, on the contrary, Kid's interest was only aroused more, because when he looked around the bar again, he saw only old, shabby, smelly guys who disgusted even him.
Kid tried to use his skills on this guy right away, yes, right, Kid was a rebel and that also included the fact that he liked to plunder and steal, actually he was really good at it, but you could always improve a little.
The kid slowly got up and approached the supposedly man of the same age, but before he got anywhere near the berry sack that is attached to the belt, he was caught.

`` You can let that stay fine. 'said his victim to him in a cold and monotonous voice before taking another sip from his mug.

Kid guessed it was sake the man was drinking because it smelled like that, but it was also hard to smell anything in this smelly bar, it could of course be completely wrong.
With his sadistic grin on his face, he sat down next to the man.

`` You are good, what's your name? `` he said to the man who had now completely piqued his interest.
`` What is that to you? 'he replied disinterestedly and took another sip.

Kid looked sideways at him and saw a tube in the jug, which surprised him a little, but he didn't show it.`` Well, something like that, the fine lady drinks from a tube. 'said Kid, amused by him.

What Kid could not see was that the man was wearing a mask and could only drink through the tube. Kid could not see it because a strand of hair of the blond man blocked his view.

`` Have you ever seen my face? 'he replied, also somewhat amused by the fact that Kid was just clueless.

The man now turned his head in Kids direction, so Kid could see the mask and grinned even wider and more sadistic than before.

`` You seem like a fighter. Are you pirate 'Kid asked again in his monotonous and cold voice.
`` No, not really, you? ``, he asked the counter-question.
`` Do I look like this? I can't even afford a drink. 'Kid said, now a little angry.
`` My name doesn't matter, you just have to call me a killer. 'the man said to him, turning to the bartender.
`` So, so, a stage name, huh? Call me kid 'said Kid, somewhat amused.
`` Also a stage name? 'asked Killer.
`` No, just an abbreviation. 'Kid replied in his usual manner.

Killer ordered some sake and before Kid could say anything else, Killer pushed the mug in front of his nose, which he accepted without hesitation. Neither of them talked much because they were too busy drinking and both weren't the kind of guys who liked to talk a lot. But Kid made up his mind.

`` What do you mean? I want to become a pirate and could use someone like you, join and become my vice, then you will get away from this hellhole. 'Kid said monotonously and coldly to Killer.

He immediately agreed, because he too wanted to go to sea and spread horror all over the world, he also hated this town and couldn't take it any longer. Both had a similar past and immediately one was sympathetic to the other, and their behavior was very similar, which is why they would certainly become a good team.
After a round of partying, they finally decided to set sail and master the adventure together, when they arrived at the boat, Killer was initially very horrified, but Kid couldn't see anything through his mask.

`` You are really a beginner. 'he then said to Kid in an amused tone.
`` Let me go, we'll get a better ship on the next island, '' Kid growled at him and glared at him menacingly.

Reluctantly, both climbed into the nutshell and continued their journey together, the kid had made it, a member is already certain to him and he didn't seem to be weak either. He had made it and knew it from the beginning, but from now on it will no longer be child's play for the two of them, they also realized that, but they felt themselves grown enough to take on this challenge and face the most threatening, terrifying and feared pirates of the entire ocean.
